Tesla launches Model Y deliveries in India, with Long Range variant on the way

Elon Musk's Tesla has begun deliveries of the regular Model Y to Indian customers, while the Long Range version is expected to be delivered soon.

Tesla drivers can also utilize the charging system of the brand available in Mumbai and Delhi.

The Mumbai Tesla Charging Station at One BKC has four V4 Superchargers (DC) and four Destination Chargers (AC), while the Aerocity, Delhi station has four V4 Superchargers (DC) and three Destination Chargers (AC), providing customers with the option to choose their preferred charging mode.

The Model Y begins at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Recently, Tesla opened its first showroom in the National Capital Region (NCR) at Worldmark 3 complex in Aerocity, which is its second retail store in India within a month of market entry.

Located in one of Delhi’s key business hubs near Indira Gandhi International Airport, the Aerocity showroom serves as an experience centre where visitors can explore the Model Y electric SUV, understand the purchase process, and learn about charging options.
