'Fast And Furious 9' to hit Indian big screens on August 5

Universal Pictures have announced the release date of the franchise on Thursday. It will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. The ninth instalment has already been released in the US, Canada, China, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, and the Middle East. However, the release of the film was pushed in India due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Vikrant Massey talks about fading star culture

Talking about the web-space playing an integral part in the erosion of star culture, Vikrant said: "I don't think it's (just) because of OTT. I think it is because of society in general. The new generation we see today, they don't idol worship like probably people 20 years ago used to do. Cinema culture was a hit but people are so busy with their own lives. The newer generation have digitisation and technology at their disposal."

According to MRC data, "Butter" amassed 28.3 million radio airplay audience impressions, up by two per cent, to dominate the music scene with their longest reigning number one song to date. The Grammy nominated band is expected to release their new single "Permission to dance" that will be included in the CD single "Butter", scheduled to be out on Friday.
Dharmendra on Dilip Kumar: Extremely sad to lose my most affectionate brother

Dharmendra wrote in an Instagram post: "Extremely sad to lose my most affectionate brother in the industry. Jannat naseeb ho, Hamare Dalip Sahab ko (May he rest in heaven)." Earlier in the day, the 85-year-old actor visited Dilip Kumar's residence to pay his last respect to the deceased and offer condolences to his family. Dharmendra was seen folding his hands in a namaste to the paparazzi clicking his pictures as he left.
