Centre endorses Covid-19 vaccine after-effects, but rebuts RTI reply

An official statement on Tuesday said: "As is the case with all other vaccines, those who get vaccinated with different Covid-19 vaccines may experience mild symptoms like injection site tenderness, pain, headache, fatigue, myalgia, malaise, pyrexia, chills, arthralgia etc. Rarely, few individuals may experience severe adverse events depending upon certain pre-disposing conditions."

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the Centre, pointed at the protest held by AAP MLAs against alleged interference by the lieutenant governor's (L-G) office in its functioning. Sources said that a total of eight people were involved in the module and they were in touch with each other and their 'akkas' (handlers) sitting across the border through 'Signal App'. "Two people used to procure weapons and two others used to further supply them to the members of the module. Hand grenades and pistols were supplied by them to the two terrorists nabbed by the police recently," said the sources.

PMO team visits Joshimath; more cracks appear
