Shefali Verma (born 28 January 2004, Rohtak, Haryana) is an explosive right-hand opening batter for India, known for her bold strokeplay and her ability to hit strike rates of 20+ in T20Is. She became India's youngest WT20I player at just 15 years of age on 24 September 2019 against South Africa. By June 2021, at 17 years and 150 days, she achieved the historic feat of making her debut in all three formats of international cricket in one year, making her the youngest Indian to do it. She scored 96 and 63 in her Test debut and in addition to that was Player of the Match. By October 2022, she had become the youngest cricketer in the world to score 1,000 women's T20I runs.
