Blind T20 World Cup: India beat Australia to register second consecutive win

Riding on a whirlwind 73 off just 30 balls by Prakash Jayaramaiah, a B3 category Blind cricketer, India overhauled Australia's total of 144/6 in 20 overs, with more than a staggering 11 overs to spare. India finished with a score of 145/1 at the end of nine overs. Australia had a good start to the game with openers Cameron Matt (44 off 35) and Stubbs Oscar (56 off 57) putting up a century opening stand before Matt departed in the 12th over with the score reading 101.

Legendary athlete PT Usha was on Saturday officially elected as the first woman president of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) during the governing body's polls. Usha -- a multiple Asian Games gold medallist -- was declared elected unopposed for the top post. The polls were held under the supervision of Supreme Court-appointed retired SC judge L Nageswara Rao.
India's top skaters to compete in 60th National Roller Skating Championship

The championship is being organised by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association under the aegis of Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI). Over 4,000 skaters, representing 31 states and union territories, will compete in 12 disciplines, spread over four venues in Bengaluru and one in neighbouring district Tumkur.
