Rishabh Pant, 25, has been far from his best in limited overs cricket this year. In T20Is, he has scored just one fifty against the West Indies in February. In ODIs, he hit two fifties and a hundred, an unbeaten 125 against England in Manchester in July. "Record is just a number, my white-ball record is not that bad either," a miffed Pant replied to Harsha Bhogle ahead of the match on Prime Video, the official broadcasters of India's tour to New Zealand.

When rain arrived, New Zealand were at 104/1 in 18 overs and DLS calculations showed that they were ahead by 50 runs. FIFA slaps fine on Germany

A statement issued by FIFA on Tuesday noted that the German team has been slapped with a fine of 10,000 Swiss Francs. Germany coach Hansi Flick had refused to send a player to the press conference, saying he wanted them to focus on the match against Spain.
