FAA software that grounded 10K flights in US is '30 years old'
As a result of a massive nationwide technical glitch, more than 10,000 flights in and out of the US were delayed on Wednesday, while more than 1,300 others were cancelled. According to a report in CNN, the FAA software that failed causing more than 10k+ flight delays is "30 years old and at least 6 years away from being updated".
Apple working on AR shopping feature on iPhone: Report
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, this feature is likely to allow customers to point their iPhone towards a product like a Mac in an Apple Store and immediately receive its details like pricing and specifications in an overlay on their screen, reports MacRumors. Gurman said the iPhone maker has been working on this feature from at least 2020 and has been testing it at stores in recent months.

Twitter planning to sell inactive usernames via online auctions
According to The New York Times, engineers at the company are planning to organise online auctions where people can bid for usernames or Twitter handles. It is still unclear how much Twitter will charge for selling inactive usernames. "The company has discussed selling some user names through online auctions, people with knowledge of the plans said," according to the report.
