According to ET News, Samsung Electronics' Mobile Experience (MX) division shared confirmed information with major camera partners that it will install a 200MP camera on the Galaxy S23 recently. Samsung Electronics announced the details of the development and the approximate production plan and commissioned some companies to develop 200 million pixel camera parts and they initiated developing the necessary parts.
Twitter to cut annual bonuses for employees to 50% amid downturn

Twitter's chief financial officer Ned Segal told employees that global market conditions would affect the annual bonuses they receive, with the "bonus pool currently at 50 per cent of what it could be if the company met its financial targets," reports The New York Times. The annual bonus figure could fluctuate even further throughout the year based on Twitter's upcoming earnings, according to Segal who wrote an email to Twitter employees on Friday.
Bug blocked Reels users from sharing videos on other platforms: Instagram

Reels, the audio from the clip just disappeared. "It means if you want to export the footage from Reels to use in another app (like TikTok), you have to actually post the Reel first in order to save the sound," The Verge had reported this week. Instagram said it was a bug and that has been fixed. Meanwhile, when creators now make a video on YouTube Shorts, they will not be able to download the video and cross-post it to other apps without a "YouTube watermark".
India's cyber agency warns about bugs in Google Chrome for desktop

The multiple vulnerabilities could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code and Security restriction bypass on the targeted system, according to an advisory by CERT-In, that comes under IT Ministry. "These vulnerabilities exist in Google Chrome due to use after free in FedCM, SwiftShader, ANGLE, Blink, Sign-In Flow, Chrome OS Shell; Heap buffer overflow in Downloads, Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Intents, Insufficient policy enforcement in Cookies and Inappropriate implementation in Extensions API," the cyber agency said.
Xiaomi cuts over 900 jobs amid global downturn: Report

Felix Krause, Founder of Fastlane that was acquired by Google, said that when the user opens any link on the TikTok iOS app, it's opened inside their in-app browser. "While you are interacting with the website, TikTok subscribes to all keyboard inputs (including passwords, credit card information, etc.) and every tap on the screen, like which buttons and links you click," Krause claimed in a blog post on Thursday.
