Imran Khan to continue working as chief executive until caretaker PM appointed

In accordance with the Constitution, the Pakistan President,Arif Alvi has not yet issued written instructions to Imran Khan to continue serving as the chief executive till the appointment of a caretaker Prime Minister. However, Khan continues to act as the Prime Minister on the basis of verbal instructions without written instructions.

410 bodies found in Ukraine's Bucha to be examined

In a social media post, Venediktova said that experts from the forensic bureau will conduct DNA examinations, autopsies, and sampling of the bodies, reports Ukrayinska Pravda. She said of the 410 bodies which were found between April 1-3, 140 of them have already been examined by prosecutors and other specialists. According to the Prosecutor General, there is "crucial evidence of brutal war crimes perpetrated by the Russian Federation in the liberated territories of the Kiev region"
Nepal says boundary talks with India through establishment mechanism

Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka said the boundary dispute between Nepal and India would be resolved through diplomacy and established mechanisms. The bilateral ties between Kathmandu and New Delhi witnessed some tension after Nepal unveiled a new political map incorporating some disputed land currently occupied by India. Nepal and India have two separate bilateral mechanisms to deal with boundary issues.
UK may face sunflower oil shortage amid Russia-Ukraine war

Edible Oils, which packages oil for 75 per cent of the UK retail market, is ramping up supplies of other oils for shoppers, the BBC reported on Sunday. Meanwhile, manufacturers of foods that contain sunflower oil, like crisps, oven chips and cereal bars, are reworking their recipes. The Food Standards Agency has advised people with allergies to look out for extra information from shops and food makers.

A notification from the Cabinet Division said: "Consequent upon dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of Pakistan, in terms of Article 58(1) read with Article 48(1) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, vide Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs' SRO No. 487(1)/2022, dated 3rd April, 2022, Mr Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi ceased to hold the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, with immediate effect."
Pressured by continuing public protests, Sri Lankan cabinet resigns

Iran FM says ball in US court as agreement close in Vienna talks

Making the remarks in a phone conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday, Hossein Amir Abdollahian added that Iran has submitted its proposals concerning the remaining unresolved issues to the US through Enrique Mora, the European Union (EU) Coordinator for the Iran nuclear talks, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry's website.
