Laos disposes of wartime big bomb in southern province
The Lao National Unexploded Ordnance Program (UXO Lao) has detonated a 500-pound (227-kg) bomb left over from the war in Namxuan village of Phouvong district in southern Attapeu province. The provincial UXO clearance team assigned a technical team to survey the site and gather information to assess the potential danger, Xinhua news agency reported citing the Lao National Radio report on Tuesday.

A slew of drugmakers, including from the US, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK have halted exports of non-essential medicines to Russia, in the wake of its invasion into Ukraine, while continuing supply of critical medicines. The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) on Tuesday issued a global appeal for the plight of Syrians displaced by the 12-year war in the country not to be forgotten. "11 years since the crisis began, Syria remains the world's largest displacement crisis. Russia bans entry of top Canadian officials
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that 313 Canadian officials have been barred from entering Russia, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Missile incident: Pak Army seeks intervention of international fora
Pakistans top military brass on Tuesday urged the relevant international fora to take a serious view of the "accidental firing" of a missile by India despite New Delhis public admission that it was a "mistake", Express Tribune reported. The unarmed missile fired accidently by India on March 9 travelled 124 km inside the Pakistani territory and fell in Mian Channu, damaging some local properties.
Moscow claims Russian forces took control of Kherson region
Russian Defence Ministry spokesperson, Major General Igor Konashenkov, claimed on Tuesday that the armed forces of the Russian Federation has taken full control of the entire territory of Kherson. The spokesperson said that the grouping of troops of the Donetsk People's Republic and the continuing offensive broke through the defence of Ukrainian nationalists, and took control of Panteleimonovka before reaching the Verkhnetoretskoye-Novoselovka-2 line.
Four Pak paramilitary personnel killed in IED blast near Quetta
At least four Pakistan Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and 10 other personnel were injured in a blast on an FC convoy in the Sangan area of Quetta's Sibi district on Tuesday, officials said, Dawn reported.
