Tesla faces lawsuit from former employee

Sugar production surplus in India since 2010-11: Govt
"In the previous sugar season 2020-21, about 310 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of sugar was produced, after discounting diversion of 22 LMT of sugar to ethanol, by Indian sugar mills against domestic consumption of 265 LMT. Further, against the estimated domestic consumption of 270 LMT in sugar season 2021-22, the sugar production is estimated to be around 308 LMT," Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti told.
Corporate tax buoyancy lowest in five decades
An estimation of decadal tax buoyancy (total tax revenue and other individual tax revenues) using double log model reveals that tax buoyancy of total tax revenue and income tax and corporation tax has declined in the current decade (2010-11 to 2019-20) compared to the last decade (2000-01 to 2009-10), the SBI said in a research report.
