SIP contribution hits all-time high in Dec at Rs 11,305.34 cr
In November, contributions through the SIP route were at Rs 11,005 crore. Also, the number of SIP accounts grew to 4.91 crore from 4.78 crore during the period, the statement added.

DMRC now says it has Rs 6,208 Cr in cash balances in various accounts, against DAMEPL dues of Rs 6,268 Cr
In an earlier affidavit filed on January 5, DMRC had made partial/limited disclosure of bank account with respect to only Rs 1,642 crore. According to the new affidavit filed today, DMRC has Rs 6208 crore in its various bank accounts as on January 3, 2022. DMRC has to pay Rs 6,268 crore to Delhi Airport Metro Express Ltd. (DAMEPL) as a part of Supreme Court's Rs 7,200 money decree.

The source said the counsel are trying to list this matter for this week. On January 5, the Delhi High Court stayed further arbitration proceedings between the parties before the Singapore tribunal till February 1. A bench headed by Chief Justice D.N. Patel and comprising Justice Jyoti Singh issued notice on the two appeals filed by Future Retail Ltd. and Future Coupons Pvt Ltd.
Piyush Goyal inaugurates first Startup India Innovation week

Real GDP to grow at around 9.5% in FY22: SBI Ecowrap
The report comes a day after the National Statistical Office (NSO) released the First Advance Estimates of National Income for financial year 2021-22. Accordingly, the estimates had said that India's economy is expected to clock a growth of 9.2 per cent in terms of real GDP for FY22. The NSO data had indicated that Real GDP' or 'GDP at Constant Prices' (2011-12) in the year 2021-22 rose to Rs 147.54 lakh crore from Rs 135.13 lakh crore.
