PM launches 20% ethanol blended petrol in 11 states/UTs

The programme aims to reduce emissions and dependence on foreign countries. Authorities say that presently, 10 per cent ethanol is blended in petrol and it is aimed to double ethanol quantity by 2025. PM Modi, after launching 20 per cent ethanol-blended petrol, stated that the use of ethanol has been increased in petrol from 1.5 per cent in 2014 to 10 per cent and it is now progressing to 20 per cent.
100 airports to be developed by 2024 under UDAN scheme

The security system at airports is reviewed regularly and upgraded as per the requirement by the BCAS in consultation with concerned agencies and stakeholders, including CISF and Airport Operators, depending upon threat perceptions, and corrective measures taken.

Rs 8,000 crore has already been raised in the first tranche of the SGBs, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary told the Lok Sabha in a written reply. The Minister said that these bonds will be issued according to the Framework for Sovereign Green Bonds, released on November 9, 2022.

Minister of State for Civil Aviation, V.K. Singh in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha on Monday said: "In last one year, a total of 63 passengers have been placed in the "No Fly List" for such period, as recommended by the airline's Internal Committee, constituted in accordance with Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR), Section 3 -- Air Transport, Series M, and Part VI titled "Handling of unruly/disruptive passengers."
