DGCA slaps Rs 10L fine on Go Air for leaving behind 55 passengers at B'luru airport
On January 9, a Go Air flight on the Bengaluru-Delhi route took off leaving behind 55 passengers in the passenger coach at the Bengaluru airport. The aviation regulator had issued a show-cause notice to the Accountable Manager of Go First, asking as to why enforcement action should not be taken against them for dereliction of their regulatory obligations.
Aadhaar e-KYC transactions up 18.53% in Q3 of FY 2022-23

State Bank of Pakistan's forex reserves fall by $923 million
During the week ending on January 20, the total foreign exchange reserves of the Pakistani central bank fell to around $3.67 billion, the central bank said in a statement on Thursday night. The decrease was "due to external debt repayments", Xinhua news agency quoted the statement as saying. Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came at $5.77 billion, it said.
Core consumer prices in Tokyo reach 41-yr high in Jan
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the core consumer price index (CPI), excluding volatile fresh food items, for the capital city increased 4.3 per cent, reports Xinhua news agency.
