Rajinikanth-starrer 'Annaatthe' shoot postponed after crew contract Covid-19
Annaatthe is a Tamil action film written and directed by Siva, and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth with Meena, Khushbu, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj and Jackie Shroff. The musical score for the film is being composed by D. Imman. Vetri is in charge of cinematography while the film is being edited by Ruben.
Zeeshan Ayyub: Re-lived college days in Delhi while shooting for 'Tandav'
Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar will make his digital debut with "Tandav". Created and directed by Zafar, the nine-part political series features an ensemble cast headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Sunil Grover. Zafar has produced the web show with Himanshu Kishan Mehra.
Ayushmann Khurrana opens up on why 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' is a special film
The love story directed by Abhishek Kapoor has been shot in Chandigarh over just 48 days, amid the pandemic. "Today, I feel immensely proud that our film is the first one in India to finish shooting an entire film while battling the coronavirus," Ayushmann wrote in Instagram along with a few pictures with co-star Vaani Kapoor and the director as they celebrated the moment.
Farhan Akhtar celebrates 9 years of 'Don 2', fans want 'Don 3'
The action-thriller starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Lara Dutta. Farhan posted a video comprising scenes from Don 2, and wrote on Instagram: "9 years and counting, the chase is still on. Here's celebrating #9YearsOfDon2." He also shared a post on the film on Twitter, and soon the comments section got flooded with fans asking for a third part of the franchise.
Vivek Oberoi: 'Saathiya' is relevant almost two decades later
Saathiya co-starred Vivek with Rani Mukerji, and the film revolves around Aditya and Suhani who elope after their parents oppose their love story. However, rifts begin to develop in their romance. Talking about the film, Vivek said: "Saathiya has always been so close to my heart! It's an evergreen film and feels so relevant even almost two decades later... still connects straight to the heart! And at the heart of the film is it's incredible music that makes you smile every time you hear it."
Ram Gopal Varma's horror film 12 'o' Clock in cinemas on January 8
Titled "12 'o' Clock", the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Makrand Deshpandey, Divya Jagdale, Manav Kaul, Ali Azgar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Dalip Tahil, Flora Saini and debutant Krshna Gautam. The psychological horror film comes with the tagline "Andhar Ka Bhoot".
Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandanna in spy thriller 'Mission Majnu'
Rashmika, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the film, said: "As an actor it is always the story of the film that I connect with, and the language of the film is never a barrier for me. 'Tenet' most watched film in India post lockdown
According to #ShowOffTheYear2020 report by BookMyShow, cinemas have sold an estimated seven lakh tickets since reopening after the Covid-induced lockdown. There has been a steady increase in screens across cinemas pan-India, with 2800 screens operational at the moment. Tenet remains the most-watched film having sold three lakh tickets. The data is for sales from October 16 to December 18.
Aparshakti on sharing screen space with brother Ayushmann Khurrana
Fans have been eager to watch the brothers share screen space after a video featuring them went viral recently. In the video they are seen playing a game of "aao milo", but with a twist. So far, the actor has made a cameo appearance in Ayushmann's 2019 release, "Bala", and he says the two have been hearing script narrations.
