'RRR' is the most-favoured international film on the US awards circuit today
To find out who stands where, we turned to 'Variety', which has been tracking where the awards have gone so far. S.S. Rajamouli's 'RRR', starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has won the most awards for Best International Feature (nine, compared with seven for the Korean 'Decision to Leave', which won for Park Chan-wook the Cannes 2022 Best Director award) and Best Original Score (by M.M. Keeravani, a.k.a. M.M. Kreem to Hindi cinema watchers) -- four nods, behind the five won by 'The Batman' and 'Babylon' and above the three of 'Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio'.

'RRR' was screened as a part of an initiative by Beyond Fest at Los Angeles' Chinese Theatre. The official handle of Beyond Fest took to Twitter to share the news. The tweet claimed that it was historic as there has not been a screening like this ever before. 'RRR' stars NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.

If Clayton Davis had the casting vote at the Academy, 'RRR' would be a close runner-up to 'Close', Lukas Ghont's 2022 Cannes Grand Prix-winning coming-of-age movie, in the Best Picture and the International Feature categories (though for the latter, it is not India's official entry).

Responding to why Alia called Shah Rukh only 'SR', the actor tweeted what 'SR could stand for. He wrote, "Could mean sweet and romantic or maybe senior and respected or maybe just Shah Rukh."Alia revealed what 'SR' stood for, and tweeted, "More like sweet and respected :) But from 25th January I'm going to switch to calling you Pathaan. Arjun Kapoor grateful to 'Indian Idol 13' contestants for making him relive '2 States'
On the singing reality show, 'Indian Idol 13', Rishi along with Bidipta Chakraborty performed on the track 'Mast Magan', originally sung by Arijit Singh for the 2014 film '2 States'. After looking at their performance, Arjun, who acted in the film opposite Alia Bhatt, praised Rishi and Bidipta for singing the duet that took him down memory lane and he recalled his shooting days. He shared: "I finally saw your face Rishi, you sang the entire song facing her! I could sense another vibe and emotion while you were performing. I feel both of you did justice to this song and thank you for making me relive ' 2 States' again."
Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa' wrapped up, movie to release on March 30
The makers of the Ajay and Tabu-starrer on Thursday took to Instagram and announced that the shooting of the film has been finished and it is currently in post-production. "Shooting has wrapped; the post-production frenzy has already begun. Remember, we have a date- March 30th in the theatres,'' Ajay Devgn Fiilms posted on its official Instagram page. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn Fiilms, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures. "Bholaa" is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It reportedly tells the story of an ex-convict who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison
Manav Gohil opens up on difficulties while shooting a scene in a deep freezer truck
He shared: "When I was briefed about the scene, I was a little worried because I had to shoot the scene in a compact deep freezer truck. On top of it, the script required dry ice smoke, which is so uncomfortable as it was a confined space, so it was difficult for me to shoot the scene." The show revolves around Aparajita (played by Shweta Tiwari) and her three daughters. In the coming episode, Akshay (Manav Gohil) will try to convince Aparajita to get their daughter Chhavi (Anushka Merchande) married to Veer. However, she tries to expose Veer in front of Akshay through a video on her phone but Mohini (Shweta Gulati) pours water over the phone
