Oxygen Express brings life-saver LMO to Maharashtra

Oxygen Express is part of the Indian Railways' initiative to transport oxygen across the country, under which empty tankers will be loaded with LMO from Visakhapatnam, Jamshedpur, Rourkela and Bokaro. While three tankers carrying Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) were unloaded at Nagpur on Friday night, four more were unloaded in Nashik on Saturday morning, said an official.

Insufficient oxygen supply not helping hospitals in Delhi

Saturday morning, two prominent city hospitals, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) and Batra Hospital along with others like Moolchand, Jaipur Golden had made SOS calls appealing to authorities to ensure supply. The SGRH and Batra hospitals received supply of oxygen which lasted only for a couple of hours.
Centre, Bengal lock horns over O2 supply

A day after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee appealed to the Centre not to divert the oxygen scheduled for the state to other states, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs wrote back to all the states and union territories to comply with the order of Delhi High Court and allow transportation of oxygen without any hindrance.
Will 'hang' anyone who obstructs oxygen supply: Delhi HC

The observation was made by the bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli during hearing of a plea by Maharaja Agrasen Hospital over shortage of oxygen. The Delhi High Court said if any official at the central, state or local administration was obstructing in the picking up or supply of oxygen, then it would "hang" that person. It said whoever obstructs oxygen supply, will not be spared.
Apex Laboratories gets approval for CleVira as Covid supportive drug

Apex Laboratories said it has got the approval from the Ministry of Ayush for its antiviral drug Clevira as a supporting measure for mild to moderate condition of Covid-19. The company said this is the first of its kind approval in India through various stages of scrutiny at The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences and Interdisciplinary Technical Review Committee.
Union govt's procured vaccine to be given free to states

"It is clarified that the Govt of India's procurement price for both #COVID19 vaccines remains at Rs 150 per dose. GOI procured doses will continue to be provided TOTALLY FREE to States," said a tweet by the Health Ministry. Many Chief Ministers have written to the Prime Minister and Congress interim President Sonia Gandgi had also written to PM Modi expressing concern over different pricing for vaccines.
