T'gana Cong passes resolution favouring Rahul as party chief
A meeting of all 33 District Congress Committees (DCCs) held in Khammam unanimously passed the resolution favouring Rahul Gandhi as the president of All India Congress Committee (AICC). It urged him to take up the post again and offered full support.

President Kovind, who reached Madanapalle by helicopter from Bengaluru, was received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, his Cabinet colleagues and senior officials. He then visited Satsang Foundation Ashram which was founded in 1994 on the principles of service and community welfare.
Fire near DMRC's Okhla barrack, no casualty
The blaze broke out on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. Later, it spread to a nearby slum and a scrapyard and then to the CISF campus. As soon as the fire reached the CISF unit, the night sentry immediately informed the CISF and Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials. Subsequently, the barrack's guard quarters and dog kennel were also evacuated in time. Fire officials were pressed into the service to douse the flames.

India ranks 3rd among nations with maximum Covid vaccination coverage
"As on 7th February 2021, till 8 a.m., a total of 57.75 lakh (57,75,322) beneficiaries have received the Covid-19 vaccine under the countrywide vaccination exercise. The cumulative vaccination coverage includes 53,04,546 healthcare workers and 4,70,776 frontline workers," the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.
