R-Day tableau on Ayodhya to be taken across UP

The tableau which won the first prize in the Republic Day parade, will be taken across the state to enable people to have a closer look at it, amidst chanting of 'Jai Shri Ram' and showering of flower petals. The Ayodhya tableau included snapshots of 'Deepotsav' depicted through earthen lamps and various stories from the Ramayana along with a giant statue of sage Valmiki.
R-Day violence: 6 leaders of farm unions issued notice to join probe

They have been summoned to join the investigation and record their version before the Crime Branch. Of the 33 FIRs registered in connection with the January 26 violence, nine will be investigated by the Crime Branch. Lookout circulars have already been issued against 44 protesters and farmer leaders.

Covid-19 Update: India reports over 18,855 new cases, 163 deaths

For the past 22 days, the country has been recording less than 20,000 daily new infections. Also, the death toll remained below the 300-mark for the past 32 days. On January 19, India had reported 10,064 new cases, the lowest so far this year. Last year, the lowest was recorded on June 3 with 9,633 cases.
Lalu Prasad Yadav shifted to private ward as his condition improves

The former minister was kept in the CICU of the hospital under the supervision of Dr Rakesh Yadav, a noted cardiologist AIIMS. He has treated Lalu earlier as well. Dr Yadav had earlier said that the leader was gradually recovering from pneumonia infection which infected his lungs. He had developed Pulmonary Edema, which led to the pneumonia infection.
Tractor Rally Violence: Rajdeep Sardesai, Mrinal Pande and others booked for sedition

An FIR lodged at the Sector-20 police station on Thursday stated that they were booked for tweeting and spreading fake news pertaining to the death of a farmer during the tractor rally on January 26, 2021. The FIR also names Zafar Agha, the Group Editor-in-Chief of National Herald, and Ananth Nath, the Editor of Caravan.
Farmer's Protest Updates: Situation normal at Ghazipur border as security forces withdrawn after midnight

However, the reason behind the withdrawal of security forces is still not known but the security personnel said that they have been asked to go back as they were on duty since morning. The situation was tense at the Ghazipur border after the tractor rally organised by the farmers' unions on Republic Day turned violent in the national capital.
