Rafale’s cruise missile upgraded, can hit targets in mountains now
Facing threat from the Eastern and western front, the IAF got the French aviation company to upgrade Rafale’s SCALP long-range air-launched cruise missile to ensure that the weapon can hit targets up to 4000 metres above sea level.

Amid pandemic and farmers' protest, acreage under Rabi crop rises by nearly 5%
As per Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry data, this acreage had gone up by 25.41 lakh hectares, or 4.71 per cent, to 564.56 lakh hectares as against 539.15 lakh hectare in 2019 season. The Ministry also pointed out that the overall Rabi sowing process was encouraging and that area under pulses and oilseeds, including rapeseed and mustard, had also increased.

Addressing a virtual press conference here, Railway Board Chairman and CEO V. K. Yadav said, "As of now we are operating 1,089 mail and express trains as compared to 1,768 trains." He said that the railways is operating 264 Kolkata metro trains and 3,936 suburban services.
Hathras Gangrape Case: CBI charges all 4 accused under rape and murder
