The CJI, who made the remarks after laying the foundation stone of a new high court building complex in Srinagar, emphasized that mere laws were not enough to build tradition, it requires men of high ideals to infuse life in the skeleton of law. "Denial of justice would ultimately lead to anarchy. Soon the institution of judiciary would be destabilized as people will look for extrajudicial mechanisms. Peace shall only prevail, when people's dignity and rights are recognised and protected."

The Popular Front of India (PFI) was launched on February 17, 2007, at the Empower India Conference in Bengaluru, Karnataka, by the Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD), National Development Front (NDF), Manitha Neethi Pasarai (MNP) and the South India Council. BSF sources said: "The troops spotted a drone at around 4.45 a.m. today near the International Border in Arnia Sector of R.S. Pura. "Seven to eight rounds of bullets were fired and drone went back to Pakistan side." Delhi Inferno: Mundka blaze death toll rises to 26

"Over 50 employees and workers have been reportedly evacuated, while rescue teams have so far recovered 26 dead bodies," Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sameer Sharma, said, adding that several people have sustained injuries. Delhi Fire Service chief Atul Garg told IANS that they received a call about the incident at 4 p.m. from a building located near Pillar No. 544 in Mundka in west Delhi, after which 10 fire engines were immediately pressed into service.
ISRO carries out static test of Gaganyaan rocket's booster

The booster engine is part of the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle MkIII (GSLV Mk III) rocket that would carry Indian astronauts to space. The test was conducted at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, it is learnt. The 135 seconds test firing of the booster 'HS200' happened in the morning and is part of the human rating process of the rocket GSLV Mk III.

Army chief reviews force deployment along China border in Ladakh region
