The high command which was snubbing Yediyurappa after the anointment of Basavaraj Bommai as the Chief Minister by openly announcing that the Bharatiya Janata Party would emerge victorious in the next assembly elections under the leadership of Bommai and spoke about collective leadership in the elections, now seems to be pacifying him.
WhatsApp banned 20.7 lakh accounts in India in August
In its second monthly report for the 30-day period of August 1-August 31, under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, WhatsApp received 420 grievances from users in India received via e-mails and mails sent to the India Grievance Officer via post. Delhi sees 32 new Covid cases, no death in last three days

After CM's green flag, Mumbai Metro train trials to start early 2022
The state government has permitted the MMRCL to create a temporary facility - a train delivery and testing track area for the technical trials of the prototype 8-coach trains due to arrive here by December, said MMRCL Managing Director Ranjit Singh Deol. After a two-week period to assemble the train coaches, by January 2022, the trials for the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ fully-underground Mumbai Metro 3 corridors shall start, he added.

Citing the restrictions, a source said said that from October 4 onwards, all UK nationals arriving in India from the UK, irrespective of their vaccination status, will have to undertake mandatory measures, such as carrying the report of pre-departure Covid-19 RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours before travel, and undergo Covid-19 RT-PCR test on arrival at any airport in India.
India, South Korea aim high - bilateral trade could grow to $50 bn by 2030
Bilateral trade between India and South Korea touched $21.5 billion only in 2018 -- crossing the $20 billion mark for the first time despite the trade pact -- Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CEPA) that was signed in 2010. "The target is to touch $50 billion by 2030," Chang Jae-bok, South Korea's Ambassador to India told India Narrative. "South Korea and India have a special relation and we will have talks (to figure out) how to boost trade further," he said.
