Maharashtra sees 436 people killed this monsoon, 15 in past 72 hrs

This includes at least 15 deaths in the past 3 days alone, owing to heavy downpour and massive floods in large parts of the state triggered by the after-effects of Cyclone Gulab . Of the 436, the bodies of at least six have yet to be recovered, the minister said, after a flood review meeting convened by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
Safe festivities to be determining factor in fight against Covid: V K Paul

In an information video series by the Health Ministry 'Covid Gurukool' on social media, underlined that the second Covid surge is still persisting in India more or less region wise. Speaking on the Covid behaviour during the upcoming festivities, Paul said that we are dealing with the Delta variant which is highly transmissible. He said, "A situation which leads to group and gatherings is not good for us, because then we give a chance to the virus to engulf us again".

Punjab CM invites Sidhu for talks to sort out differences
