"The system centre crossed the coastline during 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., whereas the landfall process of the whole storm centre crossed the coastline as well as continued for a few hours after that. The landfall process completed after 10.30 p.m.," India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its midnight bulletin.

53.5% in 18-44 age group vaccinated against Covid in India
According to the Ministry, 34,66,84,035 people in this age bracket have received at least one dose of the vaccine while 7,34,36,483 have received both the doses. In the age group of 45-59 years, 28.3 per cent of people have been vaccinated which includes 15,59,65,608 people with one dose and 7,35,71,780 people with both doses.
Pakistan violates LoC ceasefire in Tithwal, India retaliates
Sources said Pakistani troops opened unprovoked fire on Indian army posts, drawing a swift response from the Indian side. The exchange of fire continued for 15 minutes. "Pakistan's unprovoked ceasefire violation was suitably retaliated," a source said. There were no casualities on the Indian side.

System will cross coasts between Kalingapatnam & Gopalpur, about 25 km to north of Kalingapatnam during the next 3 hours," the Bhubaneswar Met Centre said in a tweet.
