Centre to bring new cooperative policy soon: Amit Shah

Addressing the first Cooperative conference here, he said that the cooperative sector needs to be strengthened and all important units in the entire network will soon be computerised. "Many people say that cooperative is state subject but I must tell you that we will not have any confrontation with the states and will be working with them in poverty amelioration and help them in the matter of cooperatives", Shah said.

Rs 300cr undisclosed income detected by I-T at financing syndicates

According to IT Department, the searches, so far, have resulted in the detection of undisclosed income of more than Rs 300 crore. Unaccounted cash of Rs. 9 crore has been seized so far. The evidence found in the premises of the financiers and their associates revealed that these groups have lent to various big corporate houses and businesses in Tamil Nadu, a substantial portion of which is in cash, the IT Department said on Saturday.
Active Covid cases drop below 1% as India logs below 30K

India's active caseload stands at 3,01,442 which accounts for less than of one per cent of total covid cases, the Union Health Ministry updates showed. IAF to get 56 Airbus planes worth Rs 21,000 crore

Out of the 56, Airbus will deliver 16 aircraft in flyway conditions within four years, whereas, the remaining 40 will be produced in India by a joint partnership between Tata Group and Airbus Spain. This is the first project of its kind in which a military aircraft will be manufactured in India under technology transfer by a private company and is expected to cost close to $3bn.
