Pvt hospitals used only 17.05% of total Covid vax in May
As per the Health Ministry's June 4 data, the Central government provided total of 7.4 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses to hospitals across the country in May, of which 1.85 crore doses were earmarked for private hospitals. Of the 1.85 crore vaccines earmarked for private hospitals across India, 1.29 crore doses were provided to them in May, however, the government data showed, only 22 lakh doses were used.

2 civilians, 2 cops killed in Sopore militant attack
Earlier reports had said only one civilian was injured in this incident. Police said two civilians and 2 policemen were injured when militants hurled a grenade at the security forces in Sopore town. Later they succumbed to critical injuries in the hospital during treatment.
CoWIN hack and data leak is baseless: Govt
Chairman of the Empowered Group on Vaccine Administration (EGVAC) R.S. Sharma has clarified that "the claims of so-called hackers on the dark web, relating to alleged hacking of the CoWIN system and data leak, is baseless". "We continue to take appropriate steps as are necessary, from time to time, to ensure that the data of the people is safe with CoWIN," Sharma said.
Akali Dal, BSP stitch alliance in Punjab

India forms policy to compile, declassify war histories-military ops
"The policy envisages that each organisation under the Ministry of Defence such as Services, Integrated Defence Staff, Assam Rifles and Indian Coast Guard, will transfer the records, including war diaries, letters of proceedings and operational record books, etc., to the History Division of Ministry of Defence (MoD) for proper upkeep, archival and writing the histories," the Ministry of Defence stated.

CSIR to start clinical trials of Colchicine on Covid patients
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will undertake a two-arm phase-II clinical trial to assess the safety and efficacy of the drug Colchicine for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. Colchicine is used for treating gout and related inflammatory conditions.
Congress's 1st love is Pakistan: BJP on Digvijaya's leaked chat
In leaked Clubhouse chat, Singh was found telling a Pakistani journalist that Congress would reconsider decision of revoking Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir once they are in power. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that Pakistan is the first love of Congress. In a tweet, Singh said, "Congress' first love is Pakistan. Digvijaya Singh conveyed Rahul Gandhi's message to Pakistan. Congress will help Pakistan in grabbing Kashmir."
