'Love Jihad' resurfaces in Kerala as terrorists' widows refused return

Four women -- Sonia Sebastian alias Ayisha, Merin Jacob alias Merrin, Nimisha Nair alias Fathima Isa, and Raffaela -- had gone with their families to Afghanistan to live in territory of the Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISKP) in 2016-18. Their husbands were killed in separate attacks and the women surrendered before the Afghan authorities in November 2019.
No cyber breach into NIC email system: Centre

The clarification comes on the backdrop of reports on impact of data breaches in organisations such as Air India, Big Basket and Domino's which claimed that these breaches have exposed email accounts and passwords of NIC emails to the hackers. "In view of this it is important to clarify that firstly, there has been no cyber breach into the email system of the Government of India maintained by the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
'In depth disappearance': Car vanishes down well in Mumbai

The state has so far purchased around 51.05 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of the crop, benefiting more than 11.54 lakh farmers since its commencement on April 1. While the figure for the corresponding period in the procurement season 2020-21 was just 29.92 LMT. Officials said that they may cross the all-time high record procurement of 52.92 LMT, made in 2018-19.
