Aseem and Pooja's collection "Ambi" draws spiritual inspirations from Indian sadhus. It included hand painting, digitised prints, appliques in fabrics like crepes and mushroom twills with zardozi, Manori work in fine zari and gemstones beading.

Bhardwaj speaks about his preparation for the competition against other world renowned Tapas chefs. How did you come to represent India at the Sixth World Tapas Competition in the City of Valladolid, Spain? Akshay: I came across the Sixth World Tapas Competition in one of the chef groups I am a part of. After some back and forth and hesitation, I applied, considering that it can be a wonderful experience and an excellent opportunity for me to showcase the progressive approach that comes with Indian street-side food.
Mindful use of smartphones enhances productivity: Study

The study showed that using existing smartphone applications to monitor cellphone screen time can enhance focused or mindful cellphone usage, leading to higher perceived productivity and user satisfaction. "We theorised that individuals who tracked their cellphone usage and set goals surrounding that usage tended to have enhanced productivity and contentment with their productivity as they met their stated objectives," said researcher Kaveh Abhari from the San Diego State University.

These new investigations raise a fresh alarm for the governments and agencies in India to fast-track their efforts to safeguard the population from air pollution. Exposure to above-average levels of outdoor air pollution increases the risk of death by 20 per cent, and the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 17 per cent, according to a team of researchers, including one of Indian origin.
Video games may trigger potentially lethal heart rhythm problems in children

The study authors, including lead author Claire M. Lawley from The Heart Centre for Children in Australia, documented an uncommon, but distinct pattern among children who lose consciousness while playing electronic (video) games. "Video games may represent a serious risk to some children with arrhythmic conditions; they might be lethal in patients with predisposing, but often previously unrecognized arrhythmic conditions," said Lawley.
