"I have given the resignation or the party has taken it... is not an issue of discussion. The matter of discussion is the issues on which I gave the resignation. Lalu Prasad Yadav directed me to join the cabinet and became a minister and I left the post also on his direction," he said while addressing a gathering in Durgawati block in Kaimur district.

MP minister threatens legal action against makers of 'Adipurush'
On Tuesday, BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra threatened to take legal action against the makers of 'Adipurush', alleging that the film is an insult to Hindu religion. A statement in this regard was issued by Mishra, who is also the spokesperson of the Madhya Pradesh government. Talking to mediapersons, Mishra said the film 'Adipurush' has depicted Hindu religious figures in a 'wrong way'.

Ex-Maha minister Anil Deshmukh granted bail after 11 months
A senior Nationalist Congress Party leader, Deshmukh, 73, was arrested early on November 2, 2021, after multiple raids by the ED and Central Bureau of Investigation. Shah dispelled rumours that the declaration of reservations as STs for the Paharis would in any way undermine the reservations given to Gujjars and Bakarwals. "This is a rumour being spread by some to create a wedge between the Gujjar/Bakarwal and Pahari communities. Reservations given to Paharis will not undermine the ST reservation of Gujjars and Bakarwals," he said.
