Lahore Test evenly poised after Pakistan openers make brisk start against Australia
After toiling hard in the field while bowling, Pakistan openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq gave their team a brisk start against Australia as the third and final Test match was evenly poised at the end of Day 4, here on Thursday. The visitors looked strong with the bat for the most of the day, with Usman Khawaja leading the attack with a fine Test hundred.
Asian Wrestling Championship trials: Ravi Dahiya gets walkover; Bajrang, Deepak book spots as well
The men's freestyle and Greco Roman trials were held to pick the Indian teams for the event to be held at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from April 19 to 24.
Ravi, Bajrang and Olympian Deepak Punia got direct entries to the final. Ravi got a walkover from National champion Aman. Bajrang, who returned to competitive wrestling after the Olympics, defeated National champion Rohit. Deepak beat Vinod.

Hitaashee Bakshi, who has one win against her name this season, equalled the first-round score of 65 by Gaurika Bishnoi, whose second-round 71 saw her slip to the second place. Hitaashee Bakshi's 65 was flawless too, just as Gaurika's in the first round. After the second round, Hitaashee leads at 9-under 135 with Gaurika at 8-under 136.

India will host the first set of matches with the men's team starting its campaign against New Zealand on October 28 and Spain on October 30. They will play their return leg matches against New Zealand and Spain on October 4 and 6, respectively. Both the visitors New Zealand and Spain will also play a double-header against each other on October 29 and November 5.
