Riding on explosive knocks from Shreyas Iyer, Jadeja and Samson, India thrashed Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the second T20I, to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. "It was important for me to time the ball because it was swinging and seaming. When I faced the first few balls, I realized it wasn't turning, so I knew I could use the feet, the ball was traveling well, so I could step out on the lofted shots," said Iyer.

Shreyas Iyer held the #3 batting position well and displayed his impeccable finishing skills with an unbeaten 57 runs off 28 balls after starting off really slow.
