Apart from having to undergo all her training on ploughed fields, she was forced to stop playing kabaddi as she was asked to shift out of Haryana if she wanted to pursue a career.

According to an ESPNcricinfo report, Patidar is currently undergoing rehab at the NCA in Bengaluru and has been advised to rest for the next three weeks. The Punjab based franchise have named uncapped Australian batter Matthew Short as Bairstow's replacement for the 2023 season. It will be Short's maiden IPL experience. "We regret to inform you that Jonny Bairstow will not be a part of the IPL this season because of his injury.
