Cricket for differently abled: India seal T20 series with thumping win over Nepal

Man of the match award in each of the three matches got a cash prize of Rs 10,000. India's Ravindra Sante was adjudged 'man of the series'. In the third match of the series played on Sunday, batting first, India scored 198 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Vaidehi, seeded ninth, did not even have to stretch herself for the win as a double break took her to win in the first set and she bettered it in the second set to wrap up the match comfortably. Vaidehi will now look to seal a place in the main draw when she plays the final qualifying match on Monday. She was the only Indian on the day to enter the second round of the qualifiers as rest of the players suffered defeats.

That confirmed the singles sweep as the men's singles was an all-Chinese affair, in which Liang Jingkun beat 17-year-old compatriot Lin Shidong 4-2 (11-6,9-11,10-12,12-10,12-10,11-9) in the best of seven final, which was a much closer affair. She ended up picking 5/29 in her four overs as Bangalore could make 163/8 in their 20 overs, giving Delhi their first win of the competition.
