Lin defeated the tournament's second seed Ovtcharov in straight sets 11-7, 11-3, 13-11, 11-8 in the final. The 17-year-old Chinese thus stood atop the podium for the second time at the tournament, after he had paired up with Kuai Man to win the mixed doubles on Saturday with an 11-3, 11-7, 11-8 victory over Romanian duo Ovidiu Ionescu and Bernadette Szocs, bringing home their fifth straight WTT title in the category coming into 2023.
Asian Indoor Athletics Championships: Jyothi Yarraji, Jeswin Aldrin set national records to win silver medals

Jyothi Yarraji completed her race in 8.13s -- 0.03s faster than her previous record. Yarraji, who also holds the national record in the outdoor women's 100m hurdles event, had topped the qualification on Saturday with a timing of 8.16s. In the final, however, Japan's Masumi Aoki, who barely made it to the final after clocking 8.51s to finish eighth in the qualification, stormed ahead to claim the gold in 8.01s. Chen Jiamin of China came third in 8.15s.

Third India-Australia Test to be moved out of Dharamsala: Report

The BCCI is yet to finalise the new venue but Indore and Rajkot are the frontrunners to host the second Test. A final decision on the venue is expected to be taken soon, a ESPNcricinfo report said. The decision to move the game out of Dharamsala has been taken after an unfavourable report from the board's inspection panel. The panel visited the ground on February 11 and noted several bare patches on the outfield, which was re-laid recently by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) to install a new drainage system.

As per a media release from BCCI, the All-India Senior Selection Committee took the decision to release Unadkat in consultation with the Indian team management. "The All-India Senior Selection Committee in consultation with the Indian team management has decided to release Jaydev Unadkat from India's squad for the 2nd Test of the Australia tour of India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy," the media release said.

Vasavada's knock helped Saurashtra chase down the target of 115 in the 35th over. With spinner Krishnappa Gowtham running through Saurashtra's batting order by removing Sheldon Jackson, Vishvaraj Jadeja and Chirag Jani, Saurashtra were struggling at 42 for 5. But, Chetan Sakariya scored a crucial 47-ball 24 and also stitched a key partnership of 63 runs with Vasavada to almost seal the win for his team.
