The wrestlers will continue their protest at Jantar Mantar on Friday if the next meeting with the Sports Minister doesn't materialise.

Midfielder Shamsher Singh (22'), Akashdeep Singh (33', 46') and Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh (60') scored the goals for India while Gareth Furlong (43') and Jacob Draper (45') netted for World Cup debutants Wales. India will now play New Zealand, who came third in Pool C, for a place in the quarter-finals in the crossovers.
Hockey World Cup: England thrash Spain 4-0 to leave India uphill task to top group

England came into the match with four points from two matches and led India on goal difference (+5 against +2). By winning 4-0 against Spain on Thursday, England set India an uphill task of scoring eight goals to overtake them on goal difference or scoring seven goals with six field goals in their final Pool D match against Wales to finish on top of the table and claim the direct berth into the quarterfinals.

If there is only resignation, then it will make its men sit again," he emphasised.
