The 17 players will compete in the shirt of eight different teams, the magazine said. The Bavarian club is outpacing previous record-holder Premier League side Manchester City (2018) and South Korean Seoul Army Club (1954) as both sent 16 players at the time. Manchester City is repeating the number this year aside from Spanish giant FC Barcelona followed by Al-Sadd SC (Qatar/15), Manchester United (14), Real (13), Chelsea, Al-Hilal Saudi FC (both 12), and PSG, Juventus, Tottenham, Atletico, Ajax and Dortmund (all 11).

International Paralympic Committee suspends Russia, Belarus

IPC members voted 64-39 in favour of a motion to suspend Russia (with 16 members abstaining), while 54-45 voted to suspend Belarus (with 18 abstaining). The decision by IPC members to suspend NPC Russia and NPC Belarus stems from their inability to comply with their membership obligations under the IPC Constitution.

Alex Hales, Ateeq Javid reprimanded over historic social media posts

Hales was reprimanded by the CDC over an old photo of him in "blackface" at a student party, which was published by a national newspaper last year. The opener, who issued a public apology when the photo was published by The Sun last year, questioned the need for "repeated publication of these old matters" during the CDC's investigation but Chris Tickle, the adjudicator, ruled that "the interests of transparency should prevail".

FIFA World Cup: Kolo Muani to replace injured striker Nkunku in French squad

"The FIFA Medical Committee has endorsed the withdrawal of Christopher Nkunku due to injury," the French Football Federation (FFF) said in a statement. "The national coach has decided to call on Randal Kolo Muani." The 25-year-old Nkunku injured his left knee during training on Tuesday when he collided with Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
IPL 2023: Wasim Jaffer re-appointed as Punjab Kings batting coach, Langeveldt named fast bowling coach

He had joined the Punjab Kings (then Kings XI Punjab) back in 2019 and had previously worked with the side for three seasons.
