Reddit introduces 'chat channels', new way to chat within subreddits
"This month, we're experimenting exclusively with 25 volunteer subreddits on a new way to chat within subreddits - chat channels! Chat channels are dedicated spaces within a subreddit to connect, ask questions, or just hang out," Reddit said in a blogpost on Thursday.

FB, Insta to soon mandate checkout experience on Shops
"Beginning April 24 of next year, Shops without checkout on Facebook and Instagram enabled will no longer be accessible," Meta said in a blogpost on Thursday. This means that the shops that direct people to an e-commerce site to complete a purchase, rather than allowing people to make a purchase directly through Facebook.
YouTube rolls out 'podcasts' in its Music app
According to the company, this update allows users watching podcasts on the main app to continue listening to them on YouTube Music. "We're happy to share that podcasts on YouTube are now available in YouTube Music!
