India gains 2 spots on mobile download speeds globally
Median mobile download speeds in India increased from 29.85 Mbps in January to 30.96 Mbps in February, according to network intelligence and connectivity insights provider Ookla. However, India decreased two spots in rank globally for overall median fixed broadband speeds and is now at 81st position from 79th in January.
India 1st in South Asia on govt requests for user data from Big Tech firms
From 2013 to 2021, Meta and Google received the highest number of account requests from India, according to popular VPN service Surfshark. India ranked seventh in all of Asia with 58.7 accounts requested per 100,000 people. The research showed that globally, countries requested more than 6.6 million accounts combined during the 9-year period, while India requested 823,000.

According to researchers based in China, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is smart, but it is stunted by a lack of social skills. "Artificial intelligence has changed our society and our daily life," first author Lifeng Fan, from Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence (BIGAI) said. "What is the next important challenge for AI in the future? We argue that Artificial Social Intelligence (ASI) is the next big frontier," Fan said.
Microsoft may add Crypto Wallet feature to Edge
The new Crypto Wallet feature, which was first spotted by a Twitter user, appears to be still in development, with references to Microsoft internal testing, reports 'Windows Central'. According to WABetaInfo, the company has renamed the announcement group to "Home" on WhatsApp beta for Android, and its new name is "Updates" on WhatsApp beta for iOS. The community feature on WhatsApp allows users to create and join groups of people who share similar interests or hobbies.
