690 mn Indians to use 5G on mobiles by 2028: Report
5G subscriptions in India are expected to reach around 31 million by the end of this year, as telecom providers like Jio and Airtel continue to roll out 5G services across the country. Average data traffic per smartphone in the country is projected to grow from 25GB per month in 2022 to around 54 GB per month in 2028, according to the latest 'Ericsson Mobility Report'.
Samsung Galaxy S23 appears on FCC datatbase ahead of Feb launch
The model numbers of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus are SM-S911B and SM-S916B, respectively, reports Gizmochina. According to the listings, the smartphones will support 25W fast charging. The Galaxy S23 is supported by a battery with the model number EB-BS912ABY and a capacity of 3785mAh. It will offer a standard capacity of 3900mAh. Whereas, the EB-BS916ABY battery in the Galaxy S23 Plus comes with a capacity of 4565mAh and is expected to offer a "typical capacity of 4700mAh".

Cashify to open 250 physical stores by March 2023
The company aims to expand to 30 more cities by the end of this year, reading to customers in over 100 cities. After opening its 100th store in March, Cashify registered 70 per cent growth within a short span of eight months. Currently, the company has 170 stores in over 77 cities. "In the last couple of years, we have witnessed multifold growth in terms of expansion, consumer reach and marketing. We are at the forefront of the organised refurbished sector in India," said Alok Shukla, VP-Retail at Cashify.
Twitter stops enforcing Covid misleading information policy
As per an update on the company's blog, "Twitter is no longer enforcing the Covid-19 misleading information policy". Under its Covid misinformation policy, Twitter removed "demonstrably false or potentially misleading content that has the highest risk of causing harm." However, it is still not clear why Twitter has taken this action, as Covid is not gone yet and countries like China are reeling under its after effects.

"With foldable smartphone shipments expected to reach 16 million units worldwide -- an increase of 73 per cent year on year -- the form factor is rapidly becoming mainstream," the Samsung company said in a statement. In 2023, shipments are expected to reach 26 million units.

In the same period, the streaming platform removed over 5.6 million videos globally for violating its community guidelines. According to the Community Guidelines Enforcement report, more than 94 per cent of these videos were first flagged by machines rather than humans.

The algorithm update will help more low quality notes get identified, more contributors who consistently write low quality notes have their writing ability locked (and have to earn it back) and contributor helpfulness scores improve with more scoring data, said the company.
