SpaceX's Starship booster engine explodes in test
During a test on Monday, a blaze erupted at the base of Booster 7 -- a prototype of Super Heavy -- at the company's Starbase facility in South Texas. It was "not good" and "unintentional", SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter. "Team is assessing damage." He added that the explosion took place when an "engine spin start test" did not go according to plan.

Twitter still thinks the $44 billion Musk deal is not terminated
Twitter lawyers from Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz law firms are preparing for a long-drawn court battle after Musk filed paperwork with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to exit the acquisition deal. Twitter has now filed a letter with the SEC, saying Musk's termination attempt is invalid because "Mr. Musk and the other Musk Parties have knowingly, intentionally, willfully, and materially breached the Agreement,"
Twitter's 'Unmentioning' feature will now let everyone leave threads
The platform has deployed several features to keep mentions civil, including an anti-harassment Safety Mode. Recently, it said that "we are experimenting with Unmentioning, a way to help you protect your peace and remove yourself from conversations, available on the Web for some of you now". Meanwhile, shares of the microblogging site fell about 6 per cent in premarket trading on Monday, amid the recent walkout by Elon Musk.
Qualcomm leads global cellular IoT module chipset market
China was the key region for cellular IoT module chipset consumption during the quarter, reports Counterpoint Research. PC, router/CPE and industrial were the top three applications for 5G. "Qualcomm, UNISOC and ASR held the top three positions in the global cellular IoT module chipset market in Q1 2022, accounting for nearly 75 per cent of the total shipments," said research analyst Anish Khajuria.
