Twitter, Instagram remove accounts of suspect in US shooting: Report
Under a pair of aliases, Crimo seemed to have posted more than a dozen videos to YouTube and hosted a Discord channel, named "SS", which was open to the public through an invite link, reports The Verge. Crimo's apparent YouTube account had not posted in around eight months, based on the website's viewing before the account was pulled out.
Apple Watch Series 8 likely to have larger display
In October last year, analyst Ross Young suggested that the Apple Watch Series 8 could come in three display sizes, reports MacRumors. Now, responding to a query about the rumour on Twitter, Young claims that the additional display size joining the Apple Watch lineup will be 1.99-inches in size diagonally.
Tesla cars can now scan for potholes to avoid damage
In a new 2022.20 software update, the automaker wrote about a new feature of the "Tesla Adaptive Suspension" system, reports the auto-tech website Electrek. "Tesla Adaptive Suspension will now adjust ride height for an upcoming rough road section. This adjustment may occur at various locations, subject to availability, as the vehicle downloads rough road map data generated by Tesla vehicles," the company was quoted as saying.
Twitter complies with IT Ministry's notice within deadline
Reliable sources told IANS on Tuesday that the company finally complied with the June 27 notice sent by the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) over taking action on some controversial tweets. A query sent to Twitter India went unanswered. The government had asked Twitter to act on the content take-down notices sent under Section 69A of the IT Act along with non-compliance notices issued for not taking the content down.
Now crypto platform Vauld freezes all withdrawals, trading, deposits
Darshan Bathija, CEO of Vauld, said that a significant amount of customer withdrawals in excess of $197.7 million has happened since June 12, when the decline of the cryptocurrency market was triggered by the collapse of Terraform Lab's UST stablecoin, Celsius network pausing withdrawals, and Three Arrows Capital defaulting on their loans.

Alarmed at its open online sale, the department warned all e-commerce companies from selling or facilitating the sale of wireless jammers on their online platforms, stressing that private sector organisations or individuals cannot procure and use jammers in India. "It has also been stated that it is unlawful to advertise, sell, distribute, import or otherwise market signal jamming devices in India, except as permitted under the guidelines," said the DoT.

Govt warns e-com platforms against illegally selling wireless jammers
The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) said that the use of cellular signal jammers, GPS blocker or other signal jamming devices is generally illegal, except specifically permitted by the government. Alarmed at its open online sale, the department warned all e-commerce companies from selling or facilitating the sale of wireless jammers on their online platforms. Private sector organisations or individuals cannot procure and use jammers in India.
Hackers post crypto scams on British Army's YouTube, Twitter accounts
The UK Ministry of Defence confirmed in a tweet late on Sunday that they were aware of a breach of the Army's Twitter and YouTube accounts and an investigation was underway. "The Army takes information security extremely seriously and is resolving the issue. Until their investigation is complete it would be inappropriate to comment further," the Ministry further posted. Both the social media accounts were later restored.
Apple Watch Series 8 to let you know if you are running a fever
The upcoming Apple Watch should be able to detect a spike in body temperature, and then ask you to use a thermometer, reports Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. "The feature is a go for both the standard Apple Watch Series 8 and a new rugged edition that's aimed at extreme sports athletes," he said. The upcoming lower-end Apple Watch SE is not going to have this health feature. Famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also believes the body temperature sensor will make its debut later this year.
