Meta to pay creators up to $4K for original content in Facebook Reels

The company is introducing "Challenges" on Facebook, a new incentive that helps creators in the Reels Play bonus programme. Meta said it is adjusting how payouts are calculated, aimed at rewarding creators across a range of audience sizes who are making "high-quality original content that resonates with people". Facebook's 'Challenges' is a new way to go through a series of bonuses to reach a maximum payout.
Apple Music installing itself to iPhone dock, kicking out apps like Spotify

Some iPhone owners also found the bug was causing Apple Music to make it default music service for Siri requests, kicking off Spotify. In a tweet, Epic Games Founder and CEO Tim Sweeney said: "I just verified this on iOS 15.4.1. With Spotify installed and on the dock, installing Apple Music removed Spotify from the dock and put Apple Music there - without asking. Happens without Apple Music being run, so clearly Apple has rigged their OPERATING SYSTEM to do this!"
WhatsApp rolls out emoji reactions for its users

According to WABetaInfo, the current version of message reactions brings six emojis -- Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks. Reactions are available for chats and groups and, when users tap and hold a message bubble, they can react to a message by choosing one emoji. Users can see who reacted to any incoming and outgoing message by tapping the reaction icon: a reaction info section shows up that lists all people with the emoji they used to react to the message.
Twitter may soon let you add videos, pictures in same tweet

According to 9To5Google, this week, Twitter for Android has revealed support for adding both pictures and videos to the same tweet, hints at tweet "awards" and more. The report mentioned that Twitter seems to finally be making it possible to tweet both a picture and a video in the same tweet. As it stands today, tweets with media can include a gallery of up to four photos or a single video, with no mix of the two.
Elon Musk may take over as temporary CEO of Twitter

According to a CNBC report, Musk has detailed the plans in presentations to possible funders for the takeover. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has been leading the micro-blogging platform since November, after taking over the helm from Jack Dorsey. CNBC's David Faber, who first broke the news about Dorsey stepping down as Twitter CEO, has now claimed that Musk will be the temporary CEO at the company for a few months.

The company said that, with TikTok Pulse, it will also begin to explore its advertising revenue share programme with creators, public figures and media publishers. "Creators and publishers with at least 100k followers will be eligible in the initial stage of this programme. We are focused on developing monetization solutions in available markets so that creators feel valued and rewarded on TikTok," the company said in a blogpost.
