Apple fixes iCloud bug causing syncing issues for third-party apps

The bug has persisted since November, and app developers were becoming increasingly upset with Apple's lack of effort to address the problem, reports AppleInsider. Users of apps with iCloud issues were seeing 503 error messages such as "Request failed with http status code 503," but multiple developers have confirmed that the error messages appear to have gone away throughout the last couple of days.
Netflix adds HDR, HD support for 2021 Pixel phones

Meta-owned photo-sharing Instagram is rolling out a new profile banner that will display a user's upcoming live streams. Instagram head Adam Mosseri noted that users can now display a badge on their profile to let others know that they have a live stream coming up, TechCrunch reported on Thursday.
Samsung Galaxy S22 major specs revealed ahead of launch

Elon Musk-owned electric vehicle company Tesla has delayed production of its much-awaited Cybertruck, aiming to start in 2023. The electric vehicle manufacturer's CEO Elon Musk confirmed during Wednesday's fourth-quarter earnings call that production and first deliveries of the futuristic pickup are not expected this year. Samsung logs record sales, 4-year-high operating profit in Q4

 Samsung on Thursday reported strong fourth-quarter earnings on robust chip business and brisk sales of consumer electronics. Net profit rose 64.04 per cent from a year earlier to 10.8 trillion won ($9 billion) in the October-December period, the world's largest memory chip and smartphone vendor said in a regulatory filing. Operating profit jumped 53.3 per cent to 13.8 trillion won, the highest fourth-quarter operating profit since 2017.
Google hits back at Android location tracking lawsuit in US

Earlier, the attorneys general of three states and the District of Columbia sued the tech giant, alleging that Google pushed Android users with "repeated nudging, misleading pressure tactics, and evasive and deceptive descriptions" to share more information either "inadvertently or out of frustration." The lawsuit builds on a 2020 complaint filed by the Arizona Attorney General over location data collection.
