Padma Bhushan is the third-highest civilian award in the country, after Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan. The Indian government on Tuesday awarded Padma Bhushan to Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella and Alphabet and Google's Sundar Pichai among the 17 awardees.

Data breaches hit all-time high in 2021, identity fraud biggest threat
"The new record number of data compromises is 23 percent over the previous all-time high (1,506) set in 2017. The number of data events that involved sensitive information increased slightly compared to 2020 (83 percent vs. 80 percent). However, it remained well below the previous high of 95 percent set in 2017," according to its 'Annual Data Breach Report'.
Apple, Ericsson patent dispute escalates into Europe

Apple fined $5.6 mn per week over policies for Dutch dating apps
Apple made updates to its app store policies in response to an earlier order by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) but the watchdog found it to be unsatisfactory. ACM informed Apple that if it fails to adhere to its order, it will have to pay each week a penalty payment of 5 million euros up to a maximum of 50 million euros.
