Apple releases iOS 14.7 with support for MagSafe battery pack
Following the release of iOS 14.6 to the public in May, iOS 14.7 is another notable update for iPhone users. Amazon shuts down Pegasus-owner NSO Group's infrastructure
In a statement to Motherboard, an AWS spokesperson said that "When we learned of this activity, we acted quickly to shut down the relevant infrastructure and accounts". Reports have surfaced on military-grade Pegasus spyware from Israeli firm NSO Group being used by governments around the world to snoop on more than 50,000 people in 50 countries including in India.

Flagship gaming conference to return as in-person event in 2022
This year, a virtual version of the 35th edition of GDC kicked off on July 19. "GDC 2022 will return as a physical conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from March 21-25, 2022," the organisers said on Monday. Snap acquires 3D AR solutions provider Vertebrae

Vertebrae has raised about $10 million in venture funding to date, and has Toyota, Adidas and some other well-known brands as clients. Tencent acquires UK-based video game firm Sumo Group for $1.27 bn
Sumo has developed Sony's PlayStation 5 launch title ‘Sackboy: A Big Adventure' and Microsoft's ‘Crackdown 3' for Xbox consoles and PC. Tencent already has a 8.75 percent stake in Sumo, reports gamesindustry.biz. "The three founders of Sumo, who work in the business, Paul Porter, Darren Mills and I are passionate about what we do and are fully committed to continuing in our roles," Sumo CEO Carl Cavers said in a statement.
Huawei to launch flagship P50 smartphone on July 29
