Pratilipi has received over 50 lakh stories which have been read over 500 crore times.
Logistics startup Shyplite unveils AI service to help Indian sellers
Logistics startup Shyplite on Wednesday introduced AI-driven Shypmax, a cross-border logistics platform-as-a-service (LPaaS) that would help automate processes and increase shipping efficiency for the Indian businesses and sellers in the pandemic times. The company said that Shypmax is now live for deliveries to over 40 countries and will cover delivery to 220 nations with over 70 carrier and network partnerships globally.
Samsung, Tesla sign $436 mn deal for Cybertruck cameras: Report
According to a report in Sam Mobile, the South Korean tech giant will supply the biggest electric car manufacturer in the US with its camera modules. Samsung's camera modules will be used by Tesla's latest electric vehicle that was unveiled in November 2019, the reports claimed. The prototype vehicle showcased on stage wasn't equipped with conventional rearview mirrors.

Phishing attacks via WhatsApp, Telegram soar in India
India is among the top three countries facing phishing attacks primarily via instant mobile messaging apps like Facebook-owned WhatsApp and highly-encrypted Telegram, a new report revealed on Wednesday. The biggest share of detected malicious links between December 2020 and May were sent via WhatsApp (89.6 per cent), followed by Telegram (5.6 per cent), according to data shared by Kaspersky Internet Security for Android, part of the cyber security firm Kaspersky Lab.
Teen chat app Discord acquires AI software firm Sentropy
Popular teen chat app Discord has acquired Sentropy, which makes AI-powered software to spot and remove harassment and hate online, for an undisclosed sum. Sentropy said in a statement that its focus will be on helping Discord expand and evolve its trust and safety (T&S) capabilities.
Google ends unlimited group video calling for free accounts
According to an update on Google support page for Meet users, at 55 minutes, everyone gets a notification that the call is about to end. Google has quietly ended unlimited group video calls facility for free accounts on its video calling app Meet, and the users will now get only an hour time for group calls.

Instagram gets new Security Checkup tool to secure users
Facebook on Tuesday launched a new feature called Security Checkup on Instagram that will guide people, whose accounts may have been hacked, through the steps needed to secure them. This includes checking login activity, reviewing profile information, confirming the accounts that share login information and updating account recovery contact information such as phone number or email.
Google set to launch its 2nd Cloud region in India
The company, in an invite sent to media on Tuesday, said that Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Thomas Kurian, Google Cloud CEO, along with other leading tech leaders will officially announce the second India GCP region on July 15. "With reduced latency and improved availability, businesses can now innovate faster, build high-performing applications, and better serve customers by taking advantage of a smarter, open, and trusted cloud," Google said.
