User sues Sony over PlayStation's ‘digital store' monopoly
The suit seeking a class-action lawsuit has been filed in a court in California, reports The Verge. Lawyers claimed that "Sony's 2019 decision to stop PlayStation users from buying third-party download codes is violating antitrust and unfair competition laws". Those restrictions established the alleged "monopoly over the sale of digital PlayStation games".
Instagram head apologises for bug that deleted story posts
Instagram Head Adam Mosseri said in a tweet on Friday that the platform experienced a technical bug, which impacted millions of people's stories, highlights and archives around the world. "For people impacted by this bug, they saw their stories that were re-sharing posts disappear and their archive and highlights stories were missing," Mosseri informed.

Over 128M iOS users affected by 'XcodeGhost' malware: Report
Internal Apple emails have revealed during the Epic Games vs Apple trial that 128 million consumers had downloaded more than 2,500 apps infected by the malware that came from the fake copy of Xcode. In total, these 2,500 infected apps have been downloaded more than 203 million times in the App Store, reports Motherboard. According to more internal Apple emails, about 18 million affected users were based in the US.
Google Photos to offer only 15GB free space from June 1
However, this change doesn't apply to those who own a Pixel 2 or later, XDA Developers reported. Pixel users will continue to get unlimited free "high quality" photo backups on Google Photos. However, those who don't own a Pixel phone will have to get a Google One subscription, which starts at $1.99 per month ($19.99 per year) for 100GB.
