Instagram takes on Clubhouse with audio-only live streams

In a bid to take on invite-only audio chat app Clubhouse, Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform Instagram has introduced a new feature in its Live that allows users to turn off their phone's camera when broadcasting. The company is also adding the option to mute audio during a session.
New Apple TV 4K, iPad Pro to launch on May 21

Known tipster Jon Prosser updated in a tweet that Apple will also launch the new Apple TV on May 21 along with iPad Pro. The launch date arrives as information from UK retailer John Lewis revealed availability for the new iMac and iPad Pro on May 21, which is when the new Apple 4K TV will also be launched by the Cupertino-based giant.
Microsoft reduces Windows Store cut to 12%

These changes will only affect PC games and not Xbox console games in Microsoft's store. "As part of our commitment to empowering every PC game creator to achieve more, starting on August 1 the developer share of Microsoft Store PC games sales net revenue will increase to 88 per cent, from 70 per cent," Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios at Microsoft, said in a statement.
Sony officially releases PS5 in China

The Playstation 5 console is expected to go on sale in China and it will retail for 3,899 yuan ($603) for the disc version while the digital edition of PS5 will retail for 3,099 yuan ($479). The prices are higher than those of the US which starts at $399, GizmoChina reported on Friday.

Vivo launches mid-range smartphone 'V21' in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on Thursday unveiled a new smartphone -- V21 -- that will be available on Flipkart from May 6. The smartphone comes in two storage variants, including 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB priced at Rs 29,990 and Rs 32,990, respectively.
