Putin pledges support to Central Asia in fight against terror radiating from Afghanistan

Led by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the heads of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) member states had a lot on their plates when they met at the Kremlin in Moscow on Monday. Ukraine, NATO, the Caucasus and Afghanistan - the military alliance of former Soviet states in Eurasia agreed that the situation along the entire perimeter of the borders of the CSTO member states remains tense.
US plans to offer $500 Million Package to wean India from Russian weapons : Report

The package would include as much as $500 million, making India third largest recipient of such aid after Israel and Egypt. The deal has not yet been announced and it's unclear for the time being, what weapons would be included in the deal, the report added. The Bloomberg report quoted a senior US official as saying that the aid is a part of an initiative by President Joe Biden’s administration to field India as a long term security partner.

Taliban orders UN female staff in Afghanistan to wear hijab

Russia, Ukraine say their peace talks on hold
