Spread over 8,200 square feet, the new facility will become Tesla's operations hub for customers in the National Capital Region. Strategically located close to the airport, embassies, and business centers, this location is meant to make the brand more visible to its target market.

American electric car behemoth Tesla has opened its second showroom in India, located at Worldmark 2 in Aerocity, Delhi. This comes closely on the heels of the opening of its first showroom in BKC in Mumbai on July 15, 2025.

Spread over 8,200 square feet, the new facility will become Tesla's operations hub for customers in the National Capital Region. Strategically located close to the airport, embassies, and business centers, this location is meant to make the brand more visible to its target market.

Making the most of this optimal location, Tesla has fitted four V4 Superchargers in the basement car park. Furthermore, the company is set to deploy Supercharger stations at different locations in Delhi NCR like Saket, Noida, and Horizon Center. This move comes after the recent inauguration of Tesla's first-ever Supercharger station in Mumbai. The company's larger expansion encompasses establishing its charging facilities at eight other metropolises like Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.

The V4 Supercharger system has DC charging technology and has four Destination Charging Stalls with AC chargers to support it. With these, the Superchargers can offer a highest charging rate of 250 kW at Rs 24 per kW, while 11 kW AC chargers cost Rs 11 per kW.

Using these chargers, Tesla’s newly launched Model Y can add up to 267 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes. To give some context, the company notes that this distance is enough for about five round trips between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the Gateway of India. Tesla EV owners can start charging by connecting their vehicles, and availability can be monitored through the Tesla app. The app also provides functionalities like real-time charging status, reminders, and payment gateways.

The Tesla Model Y in India comes in two variants: rear-wheel drive (RWD) and long-range RWD. While the entry-level RWD model is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh, the long-range model is Rs 67.89 lakh. On-road prices are Rs 61.07 lakh for the RWD and Rs 69.15 lakh for the long-range version.
